Gunn Peak — Saturday, Aug. 9, 2025

Stunning views. Very steep (like old trail of mailbox until above tree line but longer and steeper). More people than expected (20 at least on a Saturday) but not surprising given there is now a worn path — still very good to have a downloaded map. Would not recommend this hike if it has rained recently, the first portion of the path would be treacherous if muddy. Helmet was a nice addition for the loose scree and the class 4 scramble portion.
