Skyscraper Mountain — Wednesday, Sep. 3, 2025

Today was sunny and on the warmer side. Not much shade on the hike but beautiful scenery every direction you look. Arrived around 9am, about three cars ahead of us to enter Sunrise. Lot was maybe a third full when we got up there. The fire to the east was very visible, but Rainier started off relatively clear but by early afternoon it was disappearing behind the smoke. I’d check the air quality if you’re planning on going to the Sunrise area as the smoke was much more noticeable on the way back. Lot was maybe half full when we left around 2pm.
