What a lovely little hike! Visited a friend in Bellingham and hiking in the area was a must so we tackled this short but moderately strenuous hike late afternoon on a Friday. Well marked and easily followed switchbacks. One recent tree down we had to climb over. Lake is beautiful, so placid. Made it up and back in 2 hours of hiking time but spent 15 mins at the lake. Right off Chuckanut Dr. Plenty of parking at the trailhead at 3:45pm.
