Seawall Park — Saturday, Sep. 20, 2025

Puget Sound and Islands > Whidbey Island
Concrete walkway with wooden benches and picnic tables

Seawall Park is a small beachfront park in Langley on Whidbey Island. It's lovely for a beach stroll at low tide, but it also has a nice raised concrete walkway (the eponymous "seawall") above the shore that I am assuming stays dry during high tide (which seemed like it could get pretty high — we were there during low tide).

There's plenty of free street parking on 1st St, and all throughout Langley if you can't find it on 1st St. (If you have been to Langley, you know it would take you about 10 minutes to reach the park from just about anywhere in Langley.)

You have to walk down a few wooden flights of stairs to get down to the park itself. There are a few terrestrial telescopes at the top of the stairs so you can look out at the beach.

The concrete walkway has wooden benches and picnic tables, so it's a really quiet place to read or have lunch. There are also trash receptacles.

There are also a few concrete stairs from the concrete walkway down to the pebble beach itself. The beach is beautiful, and there is plenty of exploration to be had!
