Does anyone really need a trip report for Mailbox Peak - New Trail? Considering its popularity...probably not. Mailbox, like Mt. Si, is easily accessible from the Seattle metro region and probably has surpassed Si in popularity. I have no data on that...just my subjective experience.
In any case, I took the new tail this morning. Gotta take advantage of autumn fair weather days! Conditions were slightly smoky, a little chilly. Hazy at the mailbox and very little mid-week company. Returned on the old trail.
