The trail is short but the roots and rocks make it a challenge. As a previous trip report noted, it is difficult to get into a stride. The road in is 20 miles of increasingly narrow logging road. My Toyota Tundra was wide enough to catch lots of the brush along side the road, so I think I got a few scratches. The benefit of the long access and poor trail is solitude. Nice views and a nice day in the mountains.
