Fire and Ice Trail — Thursday, Sep. 25, 2025

Apparently this is THE sport for wedding pictures - we saw four wedding parties/elopements here, three of them at the same time. It is a beautiful area and the blueberries are popping. The trail starts out paved to an overlook of Upper Bagley lake sitting at the base of Table Mountain. it then continues in a loop on gravel and rocks with some stairs back to the parking area.

Toilets: the vault toilets at the parking area had to be the smelliest we've ever encountered. My husband went to the bathroom and, even after walking in the fresh air, stunk up the car with the smell of pit toilet. You've been warned.

Visitor Center/gift shop: It was open! It's never open when we are there so we were excited to buy some cool merch. Its currently open Wednesday - Monday (closed Tuesday). I'm not sure when they will close for the season.
