This is definitely an urban walk. Pleasant but busy, with bikes, walkers and electric motorized vehicles {these can be disconcerting as they are relatively fast but rather quiet}. I did a 5 mile loop starting at Fishermen's Terminal to the Fremont Bridge then from this bridge I used the Burke-Gilman trail to get to the Ballard Bridge and return to the Terminal parking lot.
It was a 2 hour walk with a stop at Trader Joe's. Of interest was a outdoor market in Fremont which I passed by and a rowing regatta which appeared to be sponsored by SPU.
The weather was mild and sunny making the walk pleasant. It was a nice way to get some steps in while not having to drive a long distance.
