Cape Disappointment State Park - Cape Disappointment Lighthouse — Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025

We visited Cape Disappointment Saturday right before noon, hoping for a break in the rainy weather and we definitely got lucky! We stopped at Waikiki Beach first, and the storm brought giant waves and rough seas. Then we headed down Cape D Rd and parked in the parking lot and took the trail towards Deadman's Cove. We only visited Deadman's Cove due to bad weather, but the lighthouse and interpretive center are nearby here too. 

Trail- was pretty muddy in spots since there was heavy rain. We headed down to the beach at Deadman's Cove and the trail was pretty slick, so definitely be careful on a wet day. Probably took us about 15 min or less walking the trail from parking lot to get to the cove.
