What a beautiful fall hike! We arrived to the trailhead around noon on a sunny Saturday. We were the 4th car in the lot, so plenty of spaces left.
The trail down through the woods is covered with beautiful Big Leaf Maple leaves with peek a boo views of the water. Once down, the beach has several logs to sit on. We didn't see any water wildlife today, but the weather was perfect for enjoying the day. The dogs on the beach were not leashed, but all dogs on the trail were.
