Frog Mountain — Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025

Central Cascades > Stevens Pass - West
Frog Mountain by LunaHikes

Beautiful day for a hike. Decided to grab my hiking buddy and our cameras to enjoy a rare sunny November day. Drive in was perfect and we were the 3rd car at the trailhead.

As previous hiker stated, snow starts around 3,800’ and gets steadily deeper until you get to the top, where it’s about 1-2 feet, but still manageable. Didn’t need micro spikes, but poles made a difference. We saw the first hiker descending right as we got to the summit. My buddy and I had the summit to ourselves for about an hour until 2 lovey ladies (who we saw in the parking lot) made it up as well and we gave up our spots so they could enjoy the spectacular views. The way down we saw a lot more people making their way up and we were pleased with our timing. We definitely took our time going down as I always try to optimize my time in the mountains :)

Stopped by the Sultan Bakery on the way home and enjoyed a burger and some pie.

Can’t beat it for a Saturday in November!
