Rattlesnake Ledge — Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025

This hike was so fun and well worth it! The view at the ledge was amazing and the skies were so clear! We got really lucky with the weather today. The trail was pretty steep on the way up but was in good condition. Due to the recent rain, some areas were a little slippery so just watch your step! There were a lot of people there because it was Veteran's Day, but I wouldn't say it was overcrowded at all. There were two parts of the trail near the beginning where there was a tree trunk across the path, but it was not difficult to climb over or duck under. Many dogs were on the trail and were so cute! Being 4 miles roundtrip, this hike was definitely a challenge going up, but on the way down, it was really nice. Once again, the gorgeous view at the top was definitely worth all the hard work getting up there!
