Barclay Lake is such a great trail when you have only a little time or a group of hikers needing a mellow trail. I haven't been back on this trail since the nearby fire a few years ago, and I am happy to say the road is in much better shape than I recall *and* the trail is in great condition, too. There were about 5-6 trees to climb over or under, but very manageable. Mushrooms were also popping up everywhere which made for fun spotting and identification, if you like that.
There was a blue cooler on the logjam at the lake. Has that been there a while? I will go back to try to retrieve it if it's abandoned.
