Being an Anacortes Community Forest "regular," I've done all four peaks at random during previous hikes -- figured I'd give all four in one trip a go. From the Mount Erie Lower Parking I "summited" (in this order) Little Round Top, Sugar Cube, Mount Erie then Sugar Loaf (for the only real view besides Erie). Took the roadway down from Mount Erie to Trail #215 to get to Sugarloaf, as Trail #216 is probably best only ascended as the trail is a bit hairy for a rainy day descent -- steep, wet rocks best done facing the mountain. You can decide for yourself when going up.
Talked to one hiker at the trailhead, but didn't see a soul the entire day -- not even at the top of locally popular Mount Erie. Must've been the rain...
As the ACFL has many criss-crossing trails (I manually added a couple to my map), choose your own route options. I came out at 6.5 miles and about 3.5 hours.
It's fall and the wet leaves are caked upon the trail and rocks. Be careful out there!
