Renton Park — Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025

Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area
Renton Park by Vietsr

Overview: A short, mostly flat trail with a few rocks and roots to watch out for, nestled in the Fairwood neighborhood in Renton.

Quiet, calm, and only saw one other person with their two dogs. Not a destination hike but a nice forested change of scenery for anyone who lives near by. #lovelocaltrails

Can be hikes as an out or back or combined with neighborhood streets to form a loop.

Bathrooms: none

Obstacles on trail: none (in fact it looks like a log or two were recently removed from the trail)

Distance: 0.47 miles one way (mapped with Gaia)

Elevation gain: 32 feet one way (mapped with Gaia)

Wildlife encountered: Eastern grey squirrel, downy woodpecker
