I didn’t hike the trail today, but I saw the pictures from a Facebook hiking group that the trail was totally under water , probably couple of inches deep. Please take care. (picture from John Hinkey)
by the way the I-90 eastbound was currently closed from exit27 to 30 due to a mudslide in the highway. (Picture from wsdot traffic)

Multiple slides east of Index to beyond Stevens Pass on Hwy 2 have just closed that road as well as of Wednesday evening. I'm a little concerned about the burned south slope of Mt Baring right now.
