Midday hike around the May Valley Loop trail on a standard PNW winter day: drizzle, rain, blinding sunshine, drizzle. Parking lot only had around 8 cars at around 10AM. One vault toilet is open and the other is closed.
Trails are muddy in a lot of spots, but nothing that will suck the boot off your foot. Saw around 20 people over the 5 miles. There are a couple of trees down over the trail. One of the trees a bit too low for limbo and too high to climb over, so people are walking around that one. The others are just step overs.
For the land manager:
Trees are the at following coordinates:
- Tree that people are walking around: 47.49685, -122.05375
- Walkover #1: 47.49437, -122.04227
- Walkover #2: 47.48490, -122.04250
