Lime Kiln is a nice, easy trail near Granite Falls. Because it's a lowland hike, snow and ice are rarely an issue. There are a few nice places to watch the river. Most of the trail was in great shape until about 1/4 mile past the kiln, where significant blow-downs block the trail (see the picture). The weather was dry, but recent rains brought a small amount of mud.
