Trip Report

Ebey Waterfront Trail — Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025

Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area

Important note on this trail regarding temporary closure:

"A section of the Ebey Waterfront Trail adjacent to the city's wastewater treatment plant will be closed for construction for two weeks starting Monday, Jan. 12, until Monday, Jan. 26."

See the alert: https://www.marysvillewa.gov/AlertCenter.aspx?AID=146

I walk this trail regularly, usually with my two dogs. It's wide, flat, and paved; definitely accessible for mobility devices. It's a great birding spot. The wastewater ponds are covered in ducks in the winter. You will likely see bald eagles, hawks, herons, and maybe otters out on the slough.
