We hiked the whole loop, starting from Norwegian Point Park. The trail was in fine shape, with no obstructions. There were a few muddy spots, but it wasn't too bad. We didn't see anyone else on the trail for the first 7 miles, then just a handful. The final mile, along the beach, was lovely, with dead calm water.
After our hike, we stopped at the excellent Greenwoodes Farm Bakery for pastries and coffee. It's right across the road from Norwegian Point.
