Trip Report

Kendall Peak Lakes Snowshoe — Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026

Snoqualmie Region > Snoqualmie Pass
Trail conditions- firmly packed snow

Arrived at 0930 and not too busy yet! About 30 cars parked along the shoulder.

Absolutely no need for snowshoes or micro spikes. Didn't even contemplate putting either on. The snow is very firmly packed down without any ice or slipperiness to it.

In case you get easily confused with direction: when you get to the open area at the top of the trail (~3.8mi in), to the right is the South & to the left is the North. South a short little walk to a beautiful open view, North is to the lakes.

Up: 1.5hr, Down: 1.0hr

view when you take the fork to the right (South)
