FOUND GO PRO - picked up a GoPro 10 Black someone dropped on the snow about 10 minutes away from the trailhead yesterday, with attached handle. Let me know if anyone knows who this belongs to. I don't have social media so feel free to copy this message to any relevant Facebook groups, etc.
As for the hike itself, I took two of my kids and our dog for a sunset snowshoe. Conditions were perfect; you don't really need snowshoes or any sort of traction right now but I wanted my kids to try our their new snowshoes, so it worked out well for us.
The road was clear of any snow - any car could make to the parking lot. The trail was mildly crowded, we had plenty of space and quiet. Views and the sunset could not have been better. Also, it was very warm until the sun went down. Could have done the hike in a T-shirt.
