Cape Disappointment State Park - Cape Disappointment Lighthouse, Cape Disappointment State Park - North Head Trail — Sunday, Jan. 18, 2026

I feel really dumb that I didn’t know there were two lighthouses! We went to the original one first and it looks like it’s feeling its age. The North one is much more impressive IMO. Dead Man’s Cove is a non issue; looks like they’ve created another way down that is not as difficult as the original. (Though not accessible if you have a struggles with mobility) Really fun girl’s trip staying two nights at Long Beach you can read about on slowesthiker.com or follow link. Happy trails!
