We did a quick zip up Mt Walker in the morning. The lower gate by the highway was open, but the gate a quarter-mile up the road was closed for the winter. There's parking by the upper gate.
The trail was in great shape, without a single blowdown. At the north summit, the weather was breezy and misty, with the mountains popping in and out of view. There was no snow at all anywhere along the trail.
We opted not to continue to the south summit because of the limited visibility.
