Set out a bit past 1pm to a generally overcast but comfortable 48° day. Parking was almost full, but that is to be fully expected during the afternoon. Trail conditions were great, dry with very little mud, and the path has been well taken care of. There are connecting routes to Mount Si for those looking for a bigger challenge and side trails which lead to a few climbing areas for those with ropes and gear. The trail wasn’t very crowded, and only saw around 10-12 people throughout the 4-mile hike. The first 2/3 of the trail is an excellent warm-up before the real incline starts, but remains fairly forgiving the entire way up. Once at the top, there was a bit of wind, and an excellent view of North Bend down below, and the towering Mount Si above. Took about two hours round trip at an unrushed pace.
