Little Si — Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026

First time hiking this trail in over 25 years of recreating in the area—and wow, what a discovery! This place is an absolute geological and botanical gem. Even though both the primary and secondary parking lots were full by 9:30 a.m., the trail never felt crowded, not even at the summit. For parking, we drove over to Tanner Landing Park on the south side of the Middle Fork Snoqualmie River and enjoyed a pleasant, flat walk to the trailhead. All told, it was about seven miles round trip to the summit, under 3 hrs —an incredibly rewarding outing from start to finish.
