Nabbed some last-minute walk-in spots after checking the calendar. Road is fairly well maintained all things considered. Potholes are full of water and sections of washout that require some slower maneuvering. I took it about 10-12 mph in a Subaru outback and made the final leg in about 40mins. A friend in a lifted Subaru made it a little faster. Blowdowns have been cleared fairly well. A section of road is narrowed due to landslide but was passable.
The trail is completely snow free. Plenty of puddles, mud and running water and a section of trail that has a little re-route around a flooded section.
Fist come first served spots were available when we arrived at the cabin around 10:15am.
