It had been 12 years since I last visited here. This time we did a loop hike which I thought was much more interesting. I attached my All Trails tracing so you can follow the route. Nothing is marked with signs so GPS is helpful. There are a few stream crossings but with careful rock hopping you can get through then with less than 2 inches of water on your boots.
The walk was pleasant and traverses 2nd growth forest. The main route is an abandoned gravel road. The side trails to make a loop are more single track.
The falls are very attractive and the pond below the falls is perfect for the dog to swim. There's a small remnant of old growth forest around the falls.
We stopped at Corie's Cafe in Duvall for lunch. I highly recommend it. Family owned and delicious food and friendly service by the owners.
