Spencer Island, Langus Riverfront Park — Sunday, Feb. 15, 2026

A very bright, clear, crisp day cool day. Even around noon there was still frost on the north side of the dikes. I didn't see the usual variations of birds but there were lots of ducks, a few Canada geese, dowitchers, and in the distant, herons and a bald eagle. With the clearness the surrounding mountains; Baker, White Horse, Pilchuck and Three Fingers were bright. Mt Pilchuck had more snow than just a few days ago.
