West Tiger 3, Talus Rock Trail & Nook Trail — Friday, Feb. 20, 2026

Boy do I miss the convenience of having a hundred different hiking options in my backyard! The Issaquah Alps are truly gems. A task brought me to Bellevue so naturally I squeezed a hike in with an Eastside friend and his dog Gypsy. This loop is a nice little workout. The trail was muddiest on the Talus Rock Trail but nothing to complain about and the waterfall was nearly dry. It's been a strange winter.
