Narbeck Wetland Sanctuary — Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026

Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area
Wetland

Walked the ½-mile boardwalk loop, then the full Perimeter Trail, which added maybe another mile.

Road Conditions. Paved road and parking lot. The restrooms were closed, but there was a portable toilet.

Trail Conditions. No obstacles, no slipping. The Perimeter Trail didn't go all around, but there was a proper sidewalk.

Highlights. First signs of spring. Saw two ducks. No sign of any beavers in the area.

Crowds. Only a couple cars in the parking lot at 10:30am, and few people on the trails.

Nearby. Got perfect pastries at Touba Bakery pre-hike, and headed over to the excellent Flying Heritage Museum after the hike.
