It wasn't looking like we'd remain very dry at the beginning but it turned out to be a really nice day. I had a memory of a much different trail 25 years ago so I was pleasantly surprised by the changes.
This was an easy grade most of the way. Things started to get slushy about 1.5 in then turned to snow covered though only a few inches. Spikes were helpful on the first part of the descent and the trail was much muddier the rest of the way down.
The cloud cover remained low but we saw about half of Mt. Si from Grand Prospect. Kidzwonthike tagged the West peak and his pictures made me wish I had too.
