Guillemot Cove — Friday, Feb. 27, 2026

When we arrived at the TH at 1:30, there were no other cars in the parking area. We walked a total of 2 1/2 miles RT to the Stump House with a gain on the return of 365 feet. The Sawmill and Margaret Trails travel steeply down to sea level.  We saw only 5 others in our time there. There was one log across the trail which was difficult for me to cross as I am short, but 3 tall young woman were able to step right over it! There were a few muddy sections on the Stump House Trail, but one could avoid the muddiest areas.
