We headed out for sunrise and hopefully some birds. We achieved both, although the sunrise would have been better at nearby Damon Point and very few birds have returned as yet.
We got to the beach just after low tide. Seagulls were feasting and fighting over enormous cockles laying about on the flats. The inner lagoon had a few ducks and plovers flitting about.
All and all we had a pleasant, albeit cold walk about.
