Wallace Falls State Park - Jay Lake by badassidy

A perfect day on a frontcountry trail with lots of infrastructure. Parking lot was only 25% full at 11am on a sunny Monday, not only were folks of all ages and abilities out but every dog was kept on a short leash and under voice command from their owner. Very impressive! No obstacles, no mud, not a flake of snow the whole way. Every trail intersection has a map and every half mile of the Greg Ball trail is marked. Still, respect this trail like any other by wearing sturdy footwear and layers for brisk weather. Photo is of Wallace Lake, but I did go to Jay too. 4 hours roundtrip.
