This was our first time exploring the trails here. We parked at the main parking lot near the shops. We started our mellow day with the roughly 3 miles of trail on the Forest Loop. Then we traversed around the "ridge" with views to the east across the sound and finished with a walk on the natural habitat trail. We met a number of friendly dogs😊. This is a good option for a short easy hike. Gps had 5-1/2 miles.
Loo at the playground was clean and stocked with TP. Shop facilities was not open til 11.
