Hiked a semi-random, 5-mile, counterclockwise loop, starting from the trailhead on SE Olalla Valley Rd.
Road Conditions. Large pullout next to a paved road. Portable toilet.
Trail Conditions. Some muddy spots, but no obstacle. Many (but not all) trails were signed, so this map was useful.
Highlights. Pleasant Douglas fir/hemlock/redcedar forest with a mossy salal/evergreen huckleberry understory, and few invasive species.
Crowds. Encountered a couple of people on foot, on mountain bikes, and one person on horseback.
