Olympic Peninsula > Hood Canal

The gate was open. trail was clear until ~2500 ft, I put on micro spikes at ~2700 -- then snow got deep enough for snowshoes. By ~3200 I used snowshoes to the top 4300ft. Geoff used micro spikes to the top. So either will work. We went the longer route around on the ridge-line as we couldn't navigate the shorter more steep route. Fantastic Views at the peak! Worth all the work.
