This hike is absolutely gorgeous! I would classify it as more of a walk than a hike. Today there were many people on the trail but it was still amazing. We didn't have any issues with the trail and it is in very good condition. It would be a great hike with kids. The trail is part of Staircase campground and there were many people staying there. There are working restrooms near the trailhead. You can't take dogs. Be prepared to stop and take a lot of pictures! Overall it was a great experience.
