Snoqualmie Region > North Bend Area
Moss covered trees on the foggy trail
About 45 degrees today. Started around 9 AM. The trail-head parking lot was surprisingly empty. Only about 7 cars. I passed about a dozen people on the way up. 90% of the hike was in the fog. The trail was damp muddy in places, but no snow or ice. Light weight gaiters are recommended, but not necessary. At the top, the clouds rolled past revealing a spooky sun shinning on a low cloud filled valley. Amazing pay off.

Wet, foggy rock cliff
1st viewpoint about 300 yards from trailhead.
