Everyone says pictures can't capture this hike, and they are right. But that didn't stop us from trying! For anyone who wants to do this as a backpack, there are so many options. Many little spots along the way that I didn't know about. But we car camped at the campground up the street, and practically had the whole place to ourselves both nights! Even the Friday!
