Hiked this loop pushing my grandma in a wheelchair. About 3/4 of the way around we noticed a bear swimming towards us from across the pond. It turned and scrambled out of the water when I yelled at it, no problem. But it was a little frightening given the wheelchair situation.
Overall, this is one of the best wheelchair-accessible hikes I've done with my grandma in WA. And it's easy to tag it on to a trip to the new, relatively accessible Snoqualmie Falls overlook.

Thanks!
Thanks for the trip report. I'll take my mom who has mobility issues this weekend :)
