A bit of a Google Maps snafu pointed us here from our iPhone instead of our initial destination of Sol Duc Campground. Glad it did! We had a great night of camping in spot 2 by the river followed by a nice start to the day of a hike on the Rapids Loop. The trail is in pretty good shape, but had lots of roots/rocks in portions, so you may want to opt for boots instead of low support shoes. Plenty of places to explore, relax, and see some natural beauty on both sides of the river. The new suspension bridge is gorgeous, and offers a great place to stop for a snack.
