Murhut Falls — Monday, Nov. 10, 2014

Olympic Peninsula > Hood Canal

My hiking buddy only had a half day for hiking so we opted for Murhut Falls. (You'll find the link to a short 2 minute video of the trail highlights below..) Spectacular right now, with all the recent rainfall! Lots of mushrooms along the first half mile. Enjoyed the steep scramble off the end of the trail down to the lower pool. I suggest we turn that into official switchbacks to avoid erosion when Charlie gets back next Spring, as one of her trail crew assignments!
