Reached the Cyrus Gate trailhead at noon. The road was a bit rough in places, but clear. The car ahead of us took the last proper spot, so we parked on the side. The Rock Trail was in great condition, just two patches of ice on the trail that required some care to get around. Didn't want to hang around too long below the cliffs, as icicles were coming down... At the bottom of the Rock Trail, we continued <1mi around the north end of the lake until we found a good lunch spot. Plenty of people on the trail, but no crowds.
