Federation Forest State Park — Monday, Mar. 16, 2015

Mount Rainier Area > Chinook Pass - Hwy 410

We went to the coordinates given, and naturally it wasn't the right entrance. So we followed directions off the page and made it to the park entrance... it was closed. So we drove back down the road a little where there was parking and an entrance. Set up was a map marking a few trails so we thought maybe we'd get a hike in after all. We were wrong. The trails on the map didn't match up practically at all with what was marked on the actual trail (if marked at all). Eventually we just stopped trying and had lunch by the water. Disappointing day.
