Trip Report

Sequalitchew Creek — Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015

Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area
This place was quite a surprise! Upon arriving in a police/fire station parking lot, I thought we had gotten turned around. However, once I drove into the parking lot a little ways, I saw the sign that announced we had found the right place. The entrance to the trail is right by a little garden and across the parking lot from the police station. After a few minutes of walking, suddenly you're surrounded by trees and the tranquil quiet amongst them. It was surprisingly quiet and serene for the whole walk. We didn't encounter many other people, just a couple joggers and bike riders. We had the beach completely to ourselves once we reached the end and no one came by the whole time we were there.
