The first few miles were rainy and a few sections of the trail were covered in water. The last mile was covered in snow, much of it up to 2 feet deep. We didn't make it to the lake, and I wouldn't recommend the hike down without the right gear and knowledge. Beautiful, but a bit more snow than we bargained for.
