Olympic Discovery Trail — Friday, Mar. 18, 2016

Olympic Peninsula > Northern Coast

This trailhead is accessible from 101 at Strait View and Morse Creek. There is a gravel parking lot and the trail goes 4 miles to Port Angeles and 11 miles to Sequim (and then some since this is the Olympic Discovery Trail). The trail is paved for this portion. I walked 2 miles toward Port Angeles and 2 miles back with a stroller. This is an out and back type of trail and would be excellent for those not sure of how far they could really go or wanting a flat, predictable surface with some great views of the water and salt air smell.
