Hurricane Hill — Tuesday, May. 31, 2016

Olympic Peninsula > Northern Coast
If you're looking for an easy hike (really more like a walk) with stunning snow-capped mountain views, beautiful wildflowers, the cutest marmots and chipmunks you'll ever see and lots of deer, you should drive up to Hurricane Ridge in the Olympic National Park and head for Hurricane Hill. It's summer season now, so unless you don't mind crowds, try to get there early and preferably not on a week-end. Also, as a side-note ... the Obstruction Point Road is open as far as Waterhole, which is about half-way to Grand Park.
